"Pseudosocialism" (aka "Inverted Socialism", "State Capitalis" or "Red Fascism") is an ideology attempting to use the ethics and principles of socialism as a justification for elitarian statalist and/or corporative measures like mass expropriation and centralization of power/profit into the hands of mainstream institutions and/or big corporations, all goals that go directly opposite to the original aims of socialism.
Pseudo-socialism is recognized mainly by the contradiction between its rhetoric and its practice. The main telling sign is the fact that all pseudo-socialist proposals and actions ultimately end up increasing the power of some powerful elite group (either the government or big capitalists), subtracting it to the rest of society (workers and middle class).
